ABOUT

“In a world that rarely pauses, Els invites you to slow down. The newly launched brand reimagines the everyday heat pack, transforming it into a wearable act of self-care — thoughtfully designed to support those living with endometriosis and chronic pain. The debut collection features two carefully constructed sizes: a 12-panel version for full-body relief, and a more petite 8-panel option. Available in three pastel colourways, each heat pack is crafted in Aotearoa from 100 percent natural cotton, and finished with soft fabric ties that can be knotted into a wearable bow. Functional, soothing, and stylish, Els transforms heat therapy into a daily ritual worth savouring — because caring for your body should feel as good as it looks”  - Natalia Didovich, Fashion Quarterly

Els Lovers was founded by Ella in Aotearoa, after a long search for something that didn’t seem to exist. Following surgery and a diagnosis of Endometriosis, Ella found herself constantly rotating two traditional wheat bags - one for her belly and one for her back. It felt like a never ending struggle to get relief, and even harder to find a heat pack that was quite right, so she decided to make her own.

With a background in fashion design and a heart full of empathy, Ella created heat packs that are designed intentionally to help with endo pain management. Packs that wrap around your body, stay in place, and look as beautiful as they are functional. Each pack is handmade to order, and designed with softness and ease in mind for the days your body needs extra care.

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is at the heart of every decision we make.

  • All heat packs are made with natural fibres - no synthetics or blends
  • We use 100% cotton fabric and thoughtful cut in batches to minimise waste
  • Cotton ties replace plastic velcro
  • Labels are made from unbleached cotton, not polyester
  • Each heat pack comes in a custom cotton bag for keeping your heat pack clean in the microwave and extending its life cycle.
  • Our thank you notes double as care cards. Designed to be kept, not discarded

Every detail is considered. We believe that comfort shouldn’t come at the cost of the planet. Handmade With Care in Aotearoa, each heat pack is made to order, slow, intentional, and small-batch production.
